Parent and Child Little Warriors (1.5 years to 7 years of age).
Is your child aged between 1.5 to 7 yrs of age and is a little on the timid side, this is the perfect program to get your skater started. Little Warriors is an introductory skating program for children to be accompanied by an adult 18 years of age or older. The accompanying adult must have competent skating abilities or be willing to wear ice cleats (provided by WIST) and be able to assist the child throughout the entirety of the lesson.
Little Warriors will be led by one of our certified coaches and will be assisted by each adult companion. Adults will work with their skater and a coach will help to develop the skater’s skating ability, and confidence. Adults will be hands on assisting skaters to stand up and move forward and Warrior Coaches will lead each session using games, and activities. Children will learn to build confidence through toys and positive leadership and encouragement.
Warriors Ice Sports Training Society does NOT provide helmets for children or adults. Each participant must provide their own. Bicycle, snowboarding and any other helmets are NOT permitted, no exceptions.
